A very Happy Lunar New Year to all of you and your guests! It seems there is much for you to celebrate journeying into the New Year of the Dog. China and the Chinese people have not only excelled marvelously on the economic front, but also on the fronts of art and culture for the last 4,000 years of history. Those who will be tuning into your program Thursday, February 16, 2006 will be in for a treat.

My appreciation for the arts has brought me on numerous occasions to many performances of Chinese art, culture, dance and music. I am invariably in awe of such powerful talent and passion in each execution of movement and sound. It is mesmerizing.

We are fortunate that the New Tang Dynasty Television Station can share with millions worldwide a sliver of the beauty that is China. On this most festive occasion, please let me congratulate you and all your guests, and offer my very best of wishes for the Chinese New Year!
